fuel tank

g'day all i have to fit a fuel tank on my truck to run a pump and pressure washer (both petrol) room is very tight so what we have come up with is an adblue tank that would fit between the diesel tank and front drive axle my question is are these tanks suitable for petrol????????? thanks whale

Don't know for sure but adblue is nitrogen from what I've been told so it shouldn't be a problem.... The fuel will need room to expand and the tank will need to breathe. You could ask the manufacturer if you could find one.??? What about going to the wreckers and finding a petrol tank out of a wreck that would fit somewhere.?? Be sure to get the filler neck at the same time. Most caps now don't have a lock on them as the lid is locked over the fuel cap... Hope this helps you John.
