4 HP Hornsby 1911 was created by wouldyou
The serial no suggests this is 100 years old this year.
Hot bulb 4 stroke, compression ignition kerosene fuel.
Nothing has changed in that period re flywheel, crankshaft, con rod, piston and valves.

Have it driving a GE air compressor from a tramcar, pulley is where electric motor once was.

Flyball governor opens a tap when up to speed, fuel is returned to tank via funnel, probably OK in clean English air! Brass collector ring on side of crank is fed from drip oiler for big end. I do not have the original wine glass shape oilers. Davi d.
