Fergie 3PL flushing was created by HeyCharger
Hi guys. I want to flush out the old oil for the 3PL. It looks a bit yucky. Any ideas how to do it and what to use?
Thanks. Rod.
From memory, it uses normal engine oil?

Rod- Drain the old oil, pour in a few litres of diesel, crank the tractor up, and engage the PTO. Run the PTO for a few minutes, then drain the diesel promptly. Refill with new oil.
The flush will work even better if you work the tractor and PTO for a while, to warm everything to operating temperature, before you do the flush.
Cheers - Ron.
