Nissan Diesel UD Series 2 strokes

There was a thread on this forum regarding Nissan Diesel UD series 2 strokes - GM Diesel posted a picture of a UD6 (I think???)!
Well here's a UD4 which may become mine soon!
Well, can anyone tell me what the drive pulley on the back of the blower might be???? My instincts lead me to believe this may have driven a hydraulic pump as this engine was in a Sherman tank before it was sold to a rellie of mine! Any help would be much appreciated and a beer or two whenever anyone comes to see me!
The interesting thing with this engine is that the blower is driven off the back of the flywheel, unlike Detroits which were driven from the timing gears on the front!

Are you sure about that?

Hey Joe sorry to wreck your day. GM / Detroit blowers drive from the timing gears at the back of the engines.
Basil
Thanks Basil,
Man, when I wrote this I knew I'd stuffed it up! Off topic, do you know where I can find a bloody workshop manual for this engine??? Werk was supposed to be scanning me one but I haven't heard hide nor hair from him about it!
Joe
PS: Was it you who posted the picture of the UD6???

Leave it with me - I'll see what I need when I get it!
One thing I do need is lubricating oil specs - what sort of oil do I put into it??? Would the Detroit Diesel spec (7SE270) low ash oils be adequate???

Well joe I think I've found the one thing that this manual doesn't have in it I can find every bloody little spec for every boody little part of it except what type of oil to use maybe an operators manual would have it rather than a workshop manual
Werk,
Just between you and me, if the Detroits need a special oil, I think these would too! Just MHO*!
*My Humble Opinion
