S-2 Curiosity was created by seattle62kw
Just wondering if anyone knows what the first S-2 was, as in chassis number and month and year? I know mines an early one; 400046 but would love to know how many we're before mine.

g'day Evan .. your S2 appears to be the fourth one produced and sold(??) to Ted Rowe 24-5-1971 (cancelled McFie order)....

....6V71 N65, RTO910, FF901TW, SQHD 4.88, 151" WB, KWRA suspension....

..Ted has always wondered what became of his old S2.... and when eventually sold to him, was painted in the corporate colours at the time of the striking blue and green/yellow colours applied to the 1000th KW.....sold to Switzers of Eden....(there is a brochure or some blurb showing the Cabover, Ted's S2, and a W model).....

...hope that helps mate.....cheers

...PS .. there were ch/no 400027/28/37, then 400046

Thanks Phil. Yeah she's had a chassis extension since then too, certainly not a 151"wb anymore and of course the 71 has made way for the Silver 92 TA, and the 15 speed overdrive, and the Hendrickson; but the diffs are original! and she's still registered and goes which is a big plus. I'll pop around either Wed', Thursday or Friday too mate, and i'll give you a yell first. :)
