Well we have established it is American. Delco, Timken, Stewart etc

Obviously converted from Left Hand Drive. That steering column is not original so maybe another cab dropped on the chassis or another steering system fitted on the original unit from another vehicle.

Looks like he stole mum's teapot to make into an air cleaner.

Is it a White they used to emboss their blocks like that

....whatever she was she was built heavy!...just check out the bonnet latch mounts and associated coving!

Early 30's REO going by the distributor. Engine picture matches.
I imagine the left hand steering cutout had a plate over it originally, note the screwholes.

My guess is that it is powered by a Hercules Engine. It has the same oil filler as the Hercules powered Fordson tractor.

...it's looking more and more like the style of truck that was manufactured using a combination of proprietry equipment supplied by various ''outside'' firms and assembled into the truck it became....

...Peterbilt, Kenworth, Fageol, Biederman and quite a few others made/make their trucks in this manner and this particular brute is looking more like one in this style....
