I'm looking for any information or hints on restoring a 1936 M.A.N. bonneted truck.
Any info would be appreciated but specifically what type of timber was used for the frame of the cab.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

The most commonly used timber is kiln dried hardwood.
