318 v8 into inter

gday ,im just wondering if anyone has fitted a 318 chrysler into an inter d1310,& will the 4 speed inter gearbox from a 281 pattern fit directly to the 318 ? thanks

Hi trucksyd a mate of mine has just dropped in a 318 into his inter from what he told me it was straight forward he used an AT4 front engine mount that attaches to the front of the motor and sits on a welded plate that attaches to the front cross member and I'm sure his inter nu process box bolted up to the 318 bell housing hope this helps cheers Bryant

If the 318 is from a truck yes
bellhousing is drilled for the np435 4 speed and the 540 5speed. Check the input length tho. The new process 435 was made for numerous trucks and had different shafts. I have just put a 318 in place of a 245 in my dodge is was out of a dodge so no problems
