What is this suspension was created by Lang
A fellow down the road has some sort of plan to build a specialist trailer. He found this and asked me to try to identify it. The seller apparently has named it Freighter but no further info. I have no idea.

Lang, I've Got an Old Freighter Strap trailer (was My First Trailer) with the same suspension..

Pretty sure I have a parts Book with a List of Model & parts Numbers, give me a couple of Days & I'll be able to give you (or your Mate) the Model Number of that Suspension..

Looks like early light pan chassis & suspension style. Tried to do away with heavier chassis rails, but still had to be connected by steel rails to the skid plate.
The body of the pan supported the load.

I believe Freighter would be correct

And what Swishman is saying is probably correct, Maxi Parts and the like are dirt cheap for this kind of stuff, unless its special and this is all that would do I would just get new stuff

Thanks chaps. I don't know this bloke very well. He obviously found it on Marketplace. He is a boiler maker by trade and up to the fabrication and I think he is setting up a mobile sand blasting operation fully self contained on the trailer.

I don't know anything about trailers but thought he is taking on a big operation from what I have seen of cheap ready made for sale. I will pass on the thoughts of the brains trust. Thanks for the info.
