ACCO 1710B Window Seals

I have recently acquired an older 1710B that needs a lot of love.

Step one is to keep the water out, but it seems there are no lower seals on the driver/passenger side window.

Does anyone know what they had for the lower seal of the window. It seems water hits the drivers/passenger door window and then glides down the glass, into the door and then out the rust hole at the bottom.

I have attached a pretty lousy picture looking down the door where there is no seal.
Any suggestions or images of what is meant to be there would be great as I am not able to find much on the interwebs.
Seems I can find the bailey channel that goes around the top and left and right of the windows, but not the lower portion.

As far as i am aware they never had a weather seal along the bottom, and the parts book doesn't show one. Just keep the drain holes in the bottom of the door clear.

Where did you find the bailey channel?, as i need some for an 1830c. Is what you found acco specific (size/length/etc), or universal?

Brett.

Bailey channel rubber comes in a couple of types but I think most are interchangeable. Our local rubber store has so many different types of bailey channel, door seals and so on. Could not find one o match the one on Lorry so had to go genuine. Took out a loan and bought one.

isn't there a couple of Bits of felt either side of the Window at the bottom..??

I think they're called beltline seals.....BISTBC

I reckon the older bonneted trucks, and even the Butterbox had that sort of thing 'seed, but i don't recall ever seeing it on a tilt cab acco.

I had a look in the shed this morning, the AS, AB, C, and both short and long door Butterbox, all have the felt seals as Hayseed mentioned, but all of my tilt cab acco's only have 3 small rubber "bump" blocks either side of the glass. Those rubber bump blocks are all that the parts book shows.
