I suppose these 1300's all look the same ... But the good looking ones are getting more rare ;D

Fantastic job you've done!!!

PLEASE put some catches on that bonnet!!!
Please put your hand up if you've ever had a bonnet fly up on either a Dodge or Inter!!
You'll need a new bonnet & windscreen plus some panel beating.
Those stretchy rubber ones are the go.

Add the bigger F Series Fords (700. 750's) to the bonnet popping list.

I knew a bloke who had an F700 and when he went to buy parts they asked him what model he had. A ''B3F" was his standanrd reply. A bonnet flappin f%#^in ford.

It spent most of its life running without a bonnet - which was good - you could see when she started to boil by the water blowing onto the windscreen.

Hey oldfulla, sounds like you know your "fords", they only went properly if they were boiling , sidewhacker fords that is.
Drove a heap of m in Blitzs little fuel tank and a 44 of water on the back -- did not need ballast weights lol.
Jeez now I wish I had taken some pictures but allas :'(

Absolutely second that pluss :) two square pieces of 25 x25 x 6 mm rubber insertion under the bonnet near the front corners stops the rub and rust problem nicely.
Stick them on with a rubber silastic they will stay put.

BTDT.

PS : And a clean pair of jocks if all goes pear shaped at the wrong place/time. ;D

Hello All

Some great news today! My C1300 International has passed its roadworthy test.

Items that were faulty were one tie rod end and a rear uni joint which I repaired last week.

I am looking forward to a good drive but before I do is there any comment on road side assistance providers (RACV) or any other breakdown assistance?

Cheers,

Steve

Congratulations Steve. Re roadside assistance you can't go past RACV Total Care. Covers you in any vehicle you drive with GVM under 4ton. Not that you'll need it for the old Inter, they are pretty much unstoppable! ;D ;D ;D
