Hi,

Has anyone got a parts breakdown for the brake setup for bedfords? We have pulled ours apart and have had them re-lined and sleeved etc but it took a while and we've forgot how they go back together. Thanks in advance for any help ::)

Mrsdodgy - Well, perhaps you need the service manual pages more than a parts breakdown page.
I have the A-series service manual that covers the brakes .. but there's 25 pages on the brake system operation and overhaul, so you need to be a little more precise on what you actually need.
Alternatively, I could copy the whole 25 pages and post it to you, but this would take a few days.

Cheers - Ron.

Hi Ron,
We are needing just the pics of what order the bits go back in, does it have a bit on the assembly of the brakes themselves?
Thanks

Are you talking about wheel brake assemblies, or the master cylinder?

The next page along .. take note of the re-assembly advice, regarding the brake anchor links for the A2 model ..

Also .. don't forget that the LH hubs have LH thread wheelstuds, and these are easily identified, by being stamped with the letter "L".

A simple photo of the item before disassembly would be the shot! Digital camera are great for this as you can save the images straight to your computer! 8-)
