G'day Monty , good spot mate, I take my hat off to people who take on restorations of trucks , cars etc in that condition . I wouldn't know where to start first , not to mention where to try to get parts for an AC Mack!
And I thought I had some work to do on the Dodge !

Your best bet is to take the cab off the chassis.
before you do that make sure the motor works

Strip the chassis, take motor out 7 gear box, get all bits sandblasted prime paint reasemble chassis,

1/2 way there.

Do the same with the cab, strip down bead blast not sand blast (sand blasting will stretch thin steel eg body panels) cab prime and paint reinstall to chassis and reinstall motor and gear box

3/4 way there,

then you can take your time refitting the cab and Findley bits

simple really break it down, that spreads your cost and goals.

Just ask Mr GM
