Truck wanted was created by 6v53T
Hi,

New to the forum. I am running out of sources to look so I decided to jump on this.

I have a 6v53t with jacobs and the works. Its really something special (will try post pics soon).

I had a truck but it won't fit into it!

I am looking for something special to put this into. I have clocked up nearly 8000km over the last 3 months just looking at trucks.

I know one mans opinion is different to the next but rust is rust.

Please if anyone knows of any good leads I will chase them up. Im located in Sydney but interstate is no issue.

Thanks

Hi Mate and Welcome, what didn't it fit into?
Is there something that you like?

No offence, but there is no point asking other people what they think it would be good in, Do you want a Prime Mover, a Ute, something with a bonnet? Plenty of options.

Be interested to know what you had a go at fitting it into, there was some pictures of a Dodge with one in it on the forum a long while ago.

Plenty of clips on YouTube of the yanks putting them in chev pickups and ford f series too. With enough time money and effort you can put something into anything- engineering it for rego though is another thing.

Apart from choosing between cab over or bonnet, and between PM or tray or bus, you also need to choose between factory option or common conversion or "you did what?"

The biggest thing though, is that your truck needs to be your truck, not someone else's.

Im sorry I was a bit vague.

My dream truck would be a Kenworth S925... Not sure where I would be able to find one.

I am open to most ideas. I do like the R190's and 200's. I also like the D5N's.

Something with a single drive.

Hey Kenny.

That R190 looks like a good first project but in one of the pics there are some early holdens which would be a good find . Dave
