Inter D1310 steering box wanted urgent was created by Ol d1310
Guys i took my truck for a spin today and sheared the pitman arm off the steering box.
Need one asap any ideas.
1973 D1310 4x4
Or is there a pwr steer conversion any one has done?
HELP
Will pay freight if from interstate

Nah i reefed on the steering wheel to try and get her to come round a bit and she just let go
Dangerous turning circle almost none
Anyway now theres no steering and i have to get it home its still on the corner where it happened >:(

I think you'll find you can make a 100 series Landcruiser power steering fit fairly easily. Not that I've done myself :P

No I haven't got a pitman arm 4 U
But U gotta ask
Why did it break?

have U dun anything to the steering lateley ?
like tightening up kingpins etc
have U used the gas ax to heat up pitmasn arm @ sum stage?
is the steering very heavy to turn ?

if U jack up front end n get sum daylight under the wheels is it easy to turn the steering

I just bought it havent done a thing.
It was heavy on steering and hardly any turning circle.
It is 4x4 with custom bigger rims tho.

Found a box pitman arm and complete column with indicators for bugger all from a farm on Yorkes.
Should be on the road again next week. ;D
