Hey chocs .... It's right up your alley ... It's had an International Hendrickson arse end transplant ..... Wouldn't take much to change the rest of the truck over :

This truck would be perfect for someone looking for an easy project. I've seen some photos of it and it looks very tidy, although there are a few minor mechanical issues.

I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had a few less projects on the go....

...the non original rear end is flogged to buggery (Hendrikson) and these old girls always look good from afar...but are far from good! ..... the 8V71 sings a beautiful song and the rest of the thing is as you would expect on a near 40 year old ex linehaul banger ....cheers fellas

As you might know I'm selling my 8 wheeler ghost
76 k145cr
8v71n very good condition. does not leak or burn oil out of the exhaust.
has got a 13 o/d rr in good condition selects fine in range change & splits. has the 3 position chrome knob.
Eaton DS380s but came out from factory with DS400s.
On Hendrickson walking beam. Poor!! requires re-bushing.
Truck also come's with 4 j bracket & 2 fuel tanks off of a 76 SAR. but not fitted as yet.
Have got 8 bud rims & 4 steel bud rims for it in reasonable condition, but no tyres.
Truck drives but wouldn't go long distances in it as rear end worn out.
I'm asking for $14,000 ono
