Commer 'knocker'.

If any body can help, I am after the 'Rootes Diesel' badge as fitted to the grille area on the later series Commer cabs.

There are a couple of knocker wrecks about 20 ks from me. They are very stuffed in the cab and i have only seen them from the rear but they are knockers by the twin air cleaners. Shall check em out and let you know

G,day, I took a drive to check out those Commers today. The guy that owns them wasnt about but i had a quick look, there were no badges on the cabs or interior bits but he may have removed them and stored them in his shed next door. There are however alot of driveline bits including 2 knocker engines gearboxes diffs etc. as well as doors & glass.
This bloke works in Melbourne so is hard to catch up with but i shall keep trying

I know someone who's reproducing ROOTES DIESEL badges. I have one and it looks A1. All you need to do is paint the back red.
