JnrMack,

It's a bit weird - Kenworth never fitted a 6V53 to a big truck (that I know of.....)!

KenMopar,

I think the NSW RFS had the biggest fleet of 4WD and 6WD International fire tankers - I know for a fact as one of the loacl Dubbo RFS brigades had a old butterbox ACCO 6WD! SAFirey, if ya on here, can you post the pic of Burrabadine RFS's 6WD Butterbox ACCO for KennyMopar2???

I read in some old magazines's that Kenworth in the 70's had what they called medium duty trucks. Non sleeper cab's with 555 Cummin's. But i never heard of 1 being fitted with a 6V53. Might be a special factory request if it's for the fire department.

While you are talking Firetrucks..

Heres an old Inter 6x6, 1971, Petrol, 5 speed crash box.
Ex army I am told.

Pics are a bit crap, but it was a very dark and cramped building.
