Quite hard to date these old girls without more details. The Monarch design dates from the 1930's and was a lighter version of the 4 wheel offerings with the 7.7 litre AEC engine and was stuck as a mkll as a mklll was never made. The diff is double reduction - seller says worm but the original Monarch had bevel. Either way can't break em. The one for sale one has air brakes which makes it more like 1949 - 53 to align with the air brake fitted mklll models which were introduced to market at that time. Pretty rare in Aus and worth rescuing.
