Up in Mt Isa during the week, Had a look at this girl, very original and would be a good restorer.
Told John i would post some photos for him:
Needs to find drive axle brakes - looks like somebody was changing from stopmaster to "S" cam brakes -(backing plated and associated parts) and axle half shafts and gearbox / flywheel replaced to make her a runner. Recover drivers seat and cab clean out.
Biggest problem is the location for people to view it.
I can probally get it back to Brisbane or Qld east coast as a back load when we deliver a machine to the Isa. (To NSW or VIC aswell as long as you are not in a rush)
Regards

No guys,
he did not give us a price and i did not ask, as he knew that i was just tyre kicking whilst in Mt Isa.
Just give him a PM or email.

If there is anybody looking for a radiator for parts to rebuild a Atkinson radiator the same as the one in the photos leave a message. Condition of tanks not sure about but there is plenty of tubes that would be usable.

Yeah Pat, would be nearly the ducks guts...
Would I be right to think this truck started life with a Gardiner and "in-roof" air intake.
Or do they all look the same despite what makes them tick?
