thanks for the tyres have arrived home know , very happy camper down here in the cold. i'll put up a pic once i get them mounted.

These tyres are army issue and are regularly replaced and sold at auction. I see them about 3-4 times a year at places like Manhiem Fowles. Stacked on pallets in 4-6 per lot and normally they also have 750r16, 275/70r22.5 in there as well but on separate pallets. Not many people buy them so they always go cheap.

Everything is fixable even if it ain't broken!

I picked up ten 12.00R20 18 Ply Dunlop tyres this morning that were passed my way for a carton of XXXX. Two are brand new, and the rest have 65%, 60%, 60%, 55%, 40%, 35%, 10% and 0% tread left. Hey Bugly911, I viewed your photos ( nice 4x4 blitz)and have a bit of a read. Good score on the tyres. I was wondering as you are up north would you know of any one interested in buying a fully restored 6x6 Chev Blitz? Would be perfect for a museum, it's to good to stick in the mud.
