I picked up ten 12.00R20 18 Ply Dunlop tyres this morning that were passed my way for a carton of XXXX. Two are brand new, and the rest have 65%, 60%, 60%, 55%, 40%, 35%, 10% and 0% tread left. There are a couple of tubes and some rust bands with them. It was suggested that they may have come off an International of some description, but I don

Very generous. Probably army issue. Many of us use them on our army accos, though lower ply rating dunlop universal are more comfortable.

They're exactly what I'm after for my Blitz, but you're 3500km away.
Damn.

Do you know of any trucking companies that'd throw them on for me?

I've got no idea...

If you've got a Simons Transport depot in Toowoomba, try them.

Pretty sure they've got a Darwin depot, so might be worth a try!

Well, the tyres have found a new home. Flatheadfordfan and his Dad cruised the 'Crawlin' the Hume' recently in an old Ford Blitz, and were again on the road to Lake Goldsmith. So the Blitz will get a new set of Dunlops!! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Here's the Blitz on the Hume, photo compliments of Slospeed (I'm sure he won't mind that I knocked his photo off!)
