Is this show a bit of a dud or is there genuine interest in attending. Last few dont compare to Brisbane !

Usually on the same weekend as Lancefield anyway, I know which one I'd go too.

Same show? Might take something away from Lancefield? Movement is strong enough though.

Just checked some dates
Lancefield 22nd & 23rd February 2014
Melbourne Truck Show 3rd,4th,5th & 6th April 2014
Crawlin The Hume 12th & 13th April 2014
So maybe make a double weekend out of it go to the truck show then do Crawlin the following weekend.

Looks like they have changed the dates from 2 years ago.
Andy, on the contrary, having an old truck show the same weekend as the new trucks just complements each other. Our show in Brisbane is held the same weekend as the Brisbane Truck Show. You've got 4 days to check out the new truck show, which in Melbourne you could probably do in 4 hours, so plenty of time to check out the real trucks on the same weekend.

Copy that, Cam, I was impressed by the 100 old trucks they were planning on having attend. Says a lot of our movement when they want to double the number of old trucks from the previous show.
I've never been to the Melbourne example but I reckon the oldies might outnumber the newies.
Next year, we will have more than 100 of the finest vintage equipment in Australia on show
