Well I`ve worked out which truck Monty owns now,if it`s the same one I`m thinking of from the Golden Oldies Show,mind Monty`s if it`s his has had a few more birthdays than the one in this pic.In the mid 80`s I worked for Mack for a brief sojorn,a long with everyone else in Briso.I can remember them stripping and rebuilding Caltex trucks,pretty much a ground up resto,and the same with the Tanami and other Cattle king road trains in the off season.Times have changed,run them for a few years and flick them now.

Hi That photo is at Mcmahon's fuel depot at north wollongong
Its only 3k's up the road fromwhere i live. I used to do a bit of casual driving for them when things were quiet. They had every model Mack
over the years. That Econodyne was the second last new one they bought. The last one was the Ultra liner with one of the firsr 500's.

HI melonreo. No dont know the name. There was a Mcmahons transport from Batemans Bay though flat tops ect.

FB & EA McMahon was the caltex depot in Wollongong for a lot of years. I think they had a depot at Milton Ulladulla.....Mark

I got to see all the Dubbo pics the week after,a couple of chaps gave them to me to put on the Heritage Truck site.I spotted your Mack and thought it was nice to see an old plastic front still in Caltex colours.It`s nice to see your keeping it that way.
