Afternoon all, Ive always been into the older gear, but havent done much time behind the wheel for a few years, cut my teeth in a Diamond reo up at Mansfield after serving time as a helper and general get in the way type of kid.

Looking at doing up a little pickup (dodge, inter or similar)

Plenty of good advice (and maybe some bad ) will certainly help you on your way with a project vehicle.

A really great idea in helping to work out what vehicle to restore is to see the results already achived by others. There are Commercial vehicle events held in every state of Australia. Suggest you get down and have a look around.

I may be a little bias. But I think the best event will of course be the HCVC show at Sandown in Melbourne on the 22nd November 2009. It certainly would have to be the biggest vintage commercial display in Australia.
