Thankx 4 da ride m8.
"timing the traffic lights" is an ART (imo).

Can I ride Shotgun (in the cab nxt time?)...cos the stack on that side was blowin a wee bit more smoke than yours. ;)

(question?). Are there any restrictions on using Jakes in built up areas?

In NSW compression (engine ) brake use is illegal in built up areas. It amuses me when I see the RMS signs saying " please limit use of compression brakes in residential areas", even though the rule book says it is illegal.

NSW RMS Heavy Vehicle Drivers Handbook, page 72 says"Auxiliary brakes are generally noisier than the service brake. Try to reduce
brake noise in urban areas by limiting the use of Auxiliary brakes.
", also diesel trucks with vertical exhaust, builr before 1980 are allowed 105dBa noise from exhaust.
