Hi,
the speed of darkness, not dark matter, can be defined by this statement.
Most of us already know that darkness is the absence of light, and that light travels at the fastest speed possible for a physical object. So, what does this mean? In short, it means that, the moment that light leaves, darkness returns. In this respect, darkness has the same speed as light.

Farm kids would have had dark places.
Outside dunny on a bleak night.
Bringing in the cows for milking before sunrise. Developed good night vision.

Bluey Dad's dark was just that
Like when you switch on a light the room becomes light, switch on a dark and the room becomes dark
Now you may ask whats the point of a dark ? , who would use a dark ?
Dad reckoned if you were out parking with a lovely young lass, there was no need to steam up the windows for privacy, switch on the dark and no one can see in
Come home from night shift, switch on the dark and it's dark, no need for curtains to block out the light
The law is chasing you, just switch on a dark and they can't find you in the dark
Dads thinking was very different, but it makes sense

Paul I like the way he thinks the country could do with more people who don’t just think like everyone else call it thinking outside the square, thinking latterly whatever a lot of common sense comes from people that make the time to dream

Asked dad what they did with windmill bores when they dried up. Said they were cut up into 3 foot lengths for post holes.
