I do think that it has happened more times than anybody will ever admit too.
The workshop foreman ripped one from the front of an R700, he was driving the big forklift whilst assisting in attempting to open up an EMPTY Drake 4 x 8. The sides of the Drake had a few dings in it and was being difficult to open and this was in middle of the yard at Hendra.
Lot's of very load cheering from everybody in the yard who saw this happen.
No 'big deal' actually, after getting the float opened out to 12 foot wide, just nosed the R model into the workshop and welded the bulbar back on.

dunno how much seat time that dozer driver has but i sit my backside in a D10 or D11 everyday and if you told me to hook it up to a truck id tell you your dreaming, unless you want the above to happen or want a chassis stretch, the balls, torque, traction they have at idle not much will stop one
