Detective,
Get yourself down to the Newsagency & buy the May 2014 Issue of Classic & Vintage Commercials (It's a pommy version of VTCM)
there's a 6 page spread (with heaps of Pics) on the Big A In OZ...
I rarely Buy It But when I saw the Headline "Atkinson In OZ" I had to buy,
WIll probably answer a lot of your Queries.

...Prodrive ol' mate, you are a literary giant! .. your wonderful stories extolling the ''virtues'' of these mostly mundane old working girls has had me cackling like an old hen!...
...thanks also for the tip Hayseed....the journey thus far has been a real eye opener and i'll be pretty keen to check out that article...
....just got the old sleeper parked out the back tonight so the beer drinking and one finger typing is a little late by normal standards : :....cheers fellas

...i'm beginning to wonder if this old sleeper cab may have been a big territory banger back in the day ???...
...it has a Keinzle tachograph mounted on top of the dash and the same big outside headlights, roof mount aircon, shutter front and Donaclone air filter as the Shell pics... and has also been a twin steer, and is still LWB rigid ???...
....i'll get the model and chassis number for Atkipete and hope he may shed some light on her....
