V8 macks

Any body know any thing about V8 CLR macks thanks

Most engine parts are made of "unobtainium"..........
Or at the very least "bendover&spreadem"..LOL..

The flywheel and crank make a good mailbox stand. :

I have no personal experience other than loving their sound.
I was however talking to a Mack trained mechanic a couple of weeks back about V8 Macks and their demise. His comment was that the V8 Mack engine just couldn't survive the change to electronic engine management.
Make of that what you will.
The only other thing I know about them is that their injector pumps cost around twice what you can do a 6 cylinder pump for.
