Thanks AW and Dave, I'm sure that there is and will be plenty of topics of interest. At some stage my aim is to restore an R700 with the 375 V8 etc, a truck I always wanted at the time but never got there, drove a few R600's though ( 1 new ) . I'm a bit biased towards Mack in any case.

There is a big Mack gathering up at Colac at Easter 2010, but I dont think Deadlys truck will be allowed in.

This is not a joke - you mean one with the Motor Panels cab? I know there were a few produced but I did not think any were imported down under? They were as rare as hens' teeth from what I've heard, even rarer than the French ones...

The Mack with the Motor Panels cab, is that the one with the front grille made out of two Morris Oxford grilles, one upside down under the other?
