Can anyone identify this truck?? I received it in a group of American and Canadian logging and railroad pictures.. Am probably wrong but it looks to me like a Pommey Leyland??

yes it has the Leyland on the radiator but hoo nose wot the rest of the beast iz

the driver is driving on the correct side

Yes, it is a Leyland.
They were built in England, so yes, they are Pommy. Possibly converted from solid rubber tyres to pneumatics but I suspect by the look of it that is was built with pneumatics.
Canada (and USA, look at your history books) was a British Colony. Canada is still a member of the British Commonwealth.
Both Canada AND USA originally drove on the left, in right-hand-drive vehicles.

The picture is in NZ. Truck owner is Winstones.Winstones are still in existence.The truck is a Leyland,probably a Retriever.

Welcome any info or pictures of 60s Australian AEC Mustangs (Leyland Comet lookalikes)
