Knight's of Kilmore had a big fleet of Transtars for there tankers , at the tme they were very quick i think they were all fitted with GMs. Panucci's 250 cummins powered Transtars that were on the tankers had trouble keeping up to them, with many complaints from the drivers

Weren't Bunkers running the Tramcars at one stage?? Also that mob down around the Southern Highlands (NSW) way, had the irredescent blue slim lines used to do Ansetts rocket, name escapes me at the moment. And when Lindsay Fox's mob took over Camerons from Mitchell Cotts
, bought quite a few over with them. Dave

P.B. Coleman Pty Ltd of Corrimal had a slimline Transtar that was powered by a 250 Cummins and was used on float and flat top trailer work. I took these photos at Motors and Machinery when it was new, still had the traders plate on the bumper bar . This Transtar was later owned by A. Fife of Albion Park who carted coal with it.
