I dunno about this BS, bodgie account. Sounds like something a Screemerist Truckee would think up, after having his brains rattled all day by a 2-stroke.
I told ya before .. there WERE practically no BCF Inters on the left coast .. you blokes must have cornered them all for the East Coast, while we were still stuck with Jailbar and '53 Fords, Leylands, AEC's, ERF's, Fodens, Guys, Thorneycrofts, and various other backward Pommy lorries ..
If a man possessed any Inter here .. it was usually only a single drive .. and usually a model that was around 20 years old, and had had a dozen previous owners ..
In the late 1950's here, tandem drives were a complete rarity .. concrete agitators were unknown (all concrete was mixed on-site) .. and many trucks were still loaded and unloaded by shovel .. if a man had a G-Well hoist, he was a King amongst the truckies ..
On that basis, I dunno how you think I'm gunna be able to produce pics of trucks that never existed. Maybe if you actually paid a visit to the West, you'd see that what we had .. and what we had to put up with .. was a whole lot different to what you lucky buggers got first, on the East Coast ..

must remember to fix it before next trip.
and Nothing planned (trip wise) until Alice Springs...
