At that time he operated out of the Queensland Transport Terminal, which was located at 1728 Ipswich Rd Rocklea, the same location as Mack Tucks Aust.

Have you read this book at all, it explains how/why Leader used the Berliet rear axles in the 3 Leader BWL-406's and their very short association with Berliet.

Somebody from Melbourne should remember where Nick Banavas had his depot, allways thought he started from Melbourne.

That bonneted Berliet worked as a logging truck (obviously),and it may be in the Leader book.Nicky Banavas was a mate of Cyril Anderson's,and Westco owned the Queensland Transport Terminal. There was another bogie drive cab over tipper getting around Brisbane up until probobly 6 or 7 years ago.Someone had converted the windscreens to flat glass, they must have had trouble getting them.
