W900 Question was created by MarkA
With the Australian built w900 Kenworth's (mid seventies only), was it an option to have a battery box (step) fitted to the left hand side as same as the right or was the standard configuration batteries right hand side fuel tank left and side?

Hard to find any pictures as most pictures are of the drives side only.

On this brochure it shows a battery /tool box on the right hand side. Yet the standard equipment list on the same brochure states battery box fitted to left side.

I am only guessing but I suspect the brochure was copied from a USA one without too much attention to differences for Right Hand Drive.
I know that a lot of TV ads say "Overseas model shown" because they are too mean to remake the ad using the model they sell to us.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

I have your USB with that on it, but I have never seen a photo of an Australian truck with the same step fitted to the left , my W900 is the same as the photo but with one tank on the left side

Tightening 2 bolts at once. I always put both spanners on the same bolt. [attaent=22949]Torsion Bar Tightening.jpg[/attachment]

Good pick up. in his defence one spanner could have been to stop the bar from rotating while the nut was done up. honest yer honour.
