For those with some time here are some full length movies. We have had these up from time to time but always worth another look for locked down people.

A 1957 British trucking film. Many later well known stars in minor parts.



They Drive by Night
This is a British 1938 Movie. Not the better known Humphrey Bogart one.



And this is one of the all time classic movies. It often features in lists of the best 100 movies of all time. The Wages of Fear. Fantastic trucking drama carrying nitroglycerine in South America.

They Drive by Night , the American version movie with Humphrey Bogart and George Raft. Not much has changed in the truckin industry when it comes to some owner drivers complaining about the low rates and long hours. I have a book that states the truck was a Kenworth, I just watched it and paused the movie and the truck radiator says Sterling.

Some later to be big name actors appeared in Hell Drivers.

Found some beauties on youtube which have made it onto a USB drive.

Trying to find this movie. All I can get is previews.

It is full on drama from start to finish.

English title was Greed in the Sun

This is more a doco than a movie. Crossing Africa in a WW2 Bedford


But this one is a classic The Big Gamble

I watched The Ice Road on Netflix last night. These new Kenworths are amazing? 2 of them were laying on their sides and used their winches to upright themselves and they started in seconds. Worth a look but I would rather watch George Raft and Humphrey Bogart in They Drive By Night.

Thieves Highway with Richard Conte and Lee J. Cobb is ok too

Lang I just watched the UK version of "They Drive By Night"

Wasnt what I expected it to be

Is a good movie and worth a watch if you have the time people
