Thanks for the pics Swishy, I would have liked to have gone. One must be carefull not to have to much fun however, as the handbrake may be applied, and seeing as I was down your neck of the woods not long ago, I thought it pertinant to refrain. The Lancefield show is on the same weekend as the Melbourne show, so I'm thinking that will be a good reason for a look.
How was Trucks in Action?, everyone was telling us that the new Melbourne show would kill it. It would be a pity if it did. Warrigul has always had a nice atmosphere. The Brisbane show used to be a bit similar, but the RNA stopped them handing out drinks and food and made it far to clinical, the Melbourne show is probobly the same.

swishy the photos are excellant , i wanted a photo of the diamond T and yours is just the thing. gavin spence W921 KW was on show and looked brilliant. the bad accident on the highway was the only thing that spoiled the day.

A great day, 88 vintage trucks at last count but I also got up the hill and had a look at the new stuff. It is a better location that Melbourne showgrounds as trucks can be demo driven and earthmoving fellas can get out there and dig holes etc. A lot of the truck companies were not there, i didnt see Kenworth, Scania, isuzu or Western Star. Certainly sales will be slower this year but country people want dealers who will support them even in the quiet times.

Great photo's Swishy, was very hot and thirsty work, but luckily the Jack Daniels display truck and tent provided ...... well, something for the thirst!
From what I'm hearing, seems the "big boys" absence from Lardner is because they will be concentrating on being present for the Melbourne Truck Show next month.
I guess we'll see.
Was a great turn out for the older trucks, really made the day I think.
