the 2 tone green jiggr may have been an Eastoe truck
could imagine when it twaz getn near the end of its life they shunted it off to Taz to do deliveries from the Ferry
the 1st KW Eastoes had twaz a single drive K121 with 6-71 GM
n 12 speed spicer CogBox Chassis # 103393 but they may have updated it with a tandem drive to B more productive

HI MATE DEFINATLEY AN EASTOE TRUCK, IT WAS APPARENTLY DELIVERED IN TAS WITH A SISTER TRUCK. WERE EASTOES A BIG MOB?? ARE THERE ANY PICS OF THERE TRUCKS KICKING AROUND.

Hey Red.....Oliver isn't it ???? Danny Turner has quite a few old Eastoes pic's ..thats how we worked out it was an ex Eastoes one.I know of no other old pic's of them on the net.

Where on earth...well tassie...did you find such a gem.....I thought I knew where most old bangers were down here but that was a new one on me.

yes it look s like an eastoes truck . i remember when they were all sold off 6 to 12 grand i think peterbilts and kenworths. used to work on the cummins engines when eastoes were in their heyday. was going to buy one .

Here's some pics of one I had a few years ago, it had a 250 Cummins,15 od and 38's on crowbar in it. Basil's going to look at that fuel tank and think, that's what I'm looking for. Anyway, I sold it to a chap in Melbourne. Check oput the wooden mudgaurds, they are style.

Thanks for the pictures guys they look great, Werkhorse the truck was planted in the blackberrys near Georgetown and hadnt moved since 1981, the owner died and i brought it from his estate, the chap who had it used it with a semi tipper etc. it has a NH250 Cummins a 15dp and 6 rod. its in our yard feel free to call in and have a look if the gates open!!
