Who used orange, beside Telecom and SEC (Victoria)?

Local Councils in my neck of the woods used orange. Not sure if this truck was from here originally though.

N.S.W. Department of Main Roads(DMR), were a similar Orange..

I’ll try to get in touch with the owner tomorrow to see how your eyes check out.

I think that hand control is for air trailer brakes (the petrol models did have an air compressor too), and i reckon the big outer ring on the end of it rotates to adjust the ratio of trailer braking in relation to the brake pedal.

Edit - i just had a look in my PBR book and it seems there is a small lever that adjusts the braking ratio, it looks like the ring on the end just holds it all together.

It's got an air treadle foot valve and an air tank on the chassis with air piping, so I'll go for air over hydraulic.

Urchy, all those involved in the doggy episode would also be in a brick wall by now at Rookwood.

Don't think SECV ever used orange?

SECV plain grey, including Holden Belmonts

I have only vague memories, since we left there when I was 8, in the 70's. Now getting recollections of an orange spirally symbol, or rectangles in a circle, or something on a white D5N Dodge. I probably had the SEC and Telecom confused.
