50's diesel engine for sale

Hi guys, sorry this is slightly off post. My old man was just about to scrap a Diesel engine from our old diary. It was probably used to run the milking machine in the 1950's. It has a marking that says "Southern Cross". Rather than be recycled I thought someone out there might be interested, dunno what sort of value it might have. m. 0400 069 037.

Joe - That looks like a Southern Cross model YB engine .. water-cooled, and about 4HP from memory. Geez, I've crank started one of them every day for years, for power ..

They're a good old collectable, glad to see you aren't going to scrap it. Where in West Oz are you? .. I could be interested in buying it, if I don't have to travel 500 kms ..
