i am going to fit new west coast mirrors to th kw with white leds and remove the old amber ones even though their still legal subject to age of truck because some roadworthy guys a being narky and insisting on white

I would think if you are still running your truck for a living then yes you might need to update but if the truck is a pure hobbie truck then I would tend to keep it the way it came when it was new . Dave

When i checked on full rego for my 1927 at Vicroads i asked about the Roadworthy test required and was told that it only needed to comply with the rules from 1927, and if i had any drama's with that to tell the tester to ring Vicroads.
