Neglected Thorneycroft Coles Crane in WA

I came across the Thornycroft/Coles crane sitting in a yard at Mingenew, WA.

Does anyone know the owner and/or history of this vehicle?

Can anyone identify the type and year?

Considering the timber and sheetmetal construction, the cab is still in reasonable condition and would be a good restoration prospect.

Like most post war English trucks, outdoor storage will render their cabs worthless within a short period of time so maybe there is a collector out there who would be interested in rescueing this vehicle.

This is a standard spec Thornycroft Trusty/Coles crane package. On this one there is a PTO on top of the gearbox to drive the generator for the crane. Other Coles had a motor and generator in the crane. No springs for the rear wheels! There is one of these in the Hunter Valley club but is undriveable because it is missing the gearbox. If the worst were to happen and it gets scrapped save the gearbox!
