Dad got sent the following 3 pictures and is trying to find out more details.

1) 1-1-1913 Grafton Post Office. Last Mail Coach & First Motor Delivery Vehicle.


2) Loading of mail Victoria Docks 1930 truck on L/H side is from Beckett Sharp & Banks Pty Ltd


3) ? The truck emblem reads English Bedford

Hi Trevor,
PMG266 is a WLG Bedford 1931 -34 (I have that pic before and I think it was in the Monitor).
PMG 141 is a 1935 -6 WS after 36 they came just Bedford also that is a 2 rib roof made in the UK by GMH not made by Holden Australia all the joints are leaded it's like one in my shed but my one is wide body . Dave

I count three ribs in the roof Dave, didn't GMH make all the Bedford cabs in Australia? General Motors was Vauxhall in UK.

Dave, if you have evidence that Bedford made pressed steel cabs in Britain prior to 1939 you will be famous because the poms don't know what you know.
