Gday Stradair

The Rolls Royce engine was a Merlin without its standard supercharger.
I think it was a V12 about 27litre.
It was a rare vehicle but I think there were more than 1 converted this way.
It was sold in 1974 to an Irishman who was intending to put the engine back into a Spitfire.

No Warwick's foden has a Gardner - I think a 6 - the V12 Merlin engine often seen providing ballast over the rear is what you are thinking of. The one withno exhast to speak of and defiantely no mufflers

Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!

the white wrecker looks like it has the original air cleaner to suit a 160 cummins

the R200 has a 180 cummins , the green diamond has a turbo 175 cummins , the short bonnet diamond T has a 6V53 in it ( no room for any thing else ) , the white 4000 has a 8V71 :-* :-*

stradair , the rollie roycer you are talking about , could that be the metior which was used in tanks

Well I was trying to put one over Roland, news of a V12 powered Foden might get him back for Sandown next year ;D
