That is an awesome truck, Swish.
Anyone got access to the VicRoads, RTA etc licensing records. Might be able to do a chassis number match there?
The AOMC(Association of Motoring Clubs) has the old records that VicRoads were going to throw out. Vicroads removed the owners details and addresses from the records for 'privacy reasons' and some of their staff won't give you the previous owner details on the vehicle you are trying to purchase even if you have written permission from the person concerned!

all is good swish my friend i do not mind at all,, luck that poor girls face cannot be seen . otherwise some poor old stock carter might recognise her.
melonreo,
I'm tending to think that poor old stock carter you refer to here is one Ron Finemore, now of Ron Finemore Transport - am I right?

There was another company that ran the same series rigid KW's that Kwickasair had, from a very vague memory, they used to be in Laurens St, North Melb, does anybody remember their name?
Greenie,
You're not referring to Comet's "Grey Ghosts", are ya? If so, there's one - the number 1 Aussie built K-Series - up in the Road Transport Hall Of Fame in Alice Springs, NT!

This one I have is confirmed to have been built in Kansas City and its serial number starts with a 2.
Starting to look like someone has bought it in themselves seperate to what was going on with KW's at the time.
Think I m going to have to paint it black and yellow and call it "no name brand"
