Kwikasair KW's was created by GM Diesel
Does anybody know where or if anyone has chassis numbers for the cabover KW's that were imported late 60's-early 70's who they went to.
Trying to work out the actual history for my old girl #213352#. Built June 1970, Kansas City.
Any help appreciated.

Thanks Swishy.
I would like to find out if it was one of Kwikasairs originally.
I would have come into Aus in 1970.
It was factory fit with a 903 cummins, RTO 910 and 5.29 rockwells on torsion bar. She'd be quick with the ratios its got.
All the running gear is as the cab tag says so its good to find one that hasnt been modified. The chassis has been shortened by the looks of it so I think it may have been a body truck originally.
No power steering either.
There is many coats of paint on it, one being Bell Bros here in Perth.

In the July issue of Deals on Wheels, page 318 there is an advertisement for a Kenworth K12576D. The picture shows a slimline cab three axle rigid tabletop and stockcrate.

The text is as follows.

1974. Cummins. 9spd overdrive. 24ft long. torsionbar. truck is an original grey ghost. Eng. No. 20127843. NSW. 0421 790 839. 02 4683 0180. $12,000.

Swishy, your right there about being well used. The old tart's been round the clock a few times but well worth saving. Well I reckon anyway.
