the dozer and float seem to be a common factor in all the pics as time progressed and year went by you needed to reduce the weight on the drive by adding more axles to the dolly

Would authorities let you travel with that weight without a dolly underneath the float neck?
I don't know but I'm just asking the question.

im going to take a guess and say that the "BIG CAM" white carried it first as the pictures is the oldest and so is the truck

well spotted....its all reversed......each pic gains an axle on the dolly from the white back to the k/dub.........but at least the white was cummins powered!!!

The first pic is the Cat D9G, bought new by PMG in 1964 and still in service 2012 being towed by a Kenworth.
Next we shortened the load about 30 km out of Adelaide with the Mack and shorter dolly so we didn't need a police escort.
Then hooked up the White to get the rig into the yard.
