Rookie here

Was passing through Echuca last weekend and had to get some photos of these two beauties on tour duty. Anyone know anything about them?

I love how simple these are, no RSI from rowing through the gears, and you can check the fuel while your driving.

I think you will find that the Commer double decker belongs to Byford Engineering in Shepparton, we tried to get it for the last HCVC display day but at the time it was a non runner. The Vulcan Charabanc I'm not sure about, but possibly used to belong to Dean Kefford.

Checking photos from an old display day. The Vulcan is the Kefford Charabanc. However the rego plates at the 2001 display day are different. At the 2001 show it didn't have the personal number plates.

Does this mean that either the Vulcan or the Commer have changed hands? Just by looking at the number plates this suggests it to me.

HERO is the name of a famous paddle steamer that was recently being re-birthed.... I wonder if the vehicles are now associated with her.
