Swishy,
Can I ask some dumb questions ?
Ive never seen one of the folding goose neck floats in action that you use but I would like to understand how it works.
I get the bit with skull dragging it back up onto the turntable with the winch but how does the goose neck work / lock in position when its up in travelling along mode.
When you pull up at a job do you unlatch the turntable pull on the trailer brakes and pay the winch out as you drive forward and it all lays down on the deck or is there hydraulic fold cylinders and locks in there ?
Basil

Now, after all that theory, ya gotta go put it into practice. So you gotta get into your oldest sunday best coveralls, then be prepared to get covered in grease and crap from arse-hole to brekky, 'cause they gotta be the absolute worst critters, for gettin' covered in SHITE.
Dont believe me, then go have a go at it and see for yourself.
Sorry swishy, just cant stand using the dirty bloody things, but suppose they still got a place in some yards.

You are right about asking questions. I enjoy learning new stuff like this.
Pics and words make it clear how it works. Pretty straight foward.
Wish we had one years ago when we were carting the TD15 backwards and fowards between two properties. Certianly alot easier on the trailer than side loading the monster and not as scary either. Specially when there is less chance of dropping a track of one side...nearly poo'd myself.
